What we charge, and why

No setup fees

Getting started with GolfTap is free. We'll help you set up your club, import your members, and configure your tee sheet at no cost.

Small transaction fee on non-member revenue

When non-members pay through GolfTap — green fees, event bookings, POS purchases — we take a small percentage. Your members' tee time bookings are covered by your base fee.

Simple annual billing

One annual bill based on your membership size. Quarterly billing is also available on request. No hidden charges, no surprises mid-year.

Accounting & integrations included

Xero sync, QuickBooks sync, payment provider connections, and API access are all part of the platform. No integration fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my monthly fee calculated?

Your fee is based on the number of active members in GolfTap. We use graduated bands — similar to how tax brackets work — so you never pay more by adding one more member, and larger clubs benefit from lower per-member rates.

What counts as an “active member”?

Only current, active memberships count towards your fee. Expired, cancelled, or paused memberships are excluded. Your count is reviewed monthly.

Do I get every feature regardless of club size?

Yes. A 50-member club gets exactly the same platform as a 2,000-member facility. Tee sheet, competitions, POS, finance, CRM, mobile app, integrations — everything is included from day one.

What does the transaction fee cover?

We charge a small percentage on revenue from non-members (green fees, event bookings) and POS sales. This covers payment processing infrastructure and platform costs for those transactions. Member tee time bookings are fully covered by your base fee.

Is there a demo available?

Absolutely. We offer personalised demos tailored to your club's needs. We'll walk you through the platform, answer your questions, and provide a quote based on your membership size.

How is billing handled?

GolfTap is billed annually as standard, with quarterly billing available on request. Your base fee is set at the start of each billing period based on your active membership count.
